As these channels are the subtle realm of your karma, and how it will play out in its journey from thought to action or non action, as the case maybe, as Lord Buddha says ” your thoughts are your world.” This can assist greatly in that form of meditation or spiritual practice you undertake to free yourself from your mind, albeit even if only periodically.. it’s a tool of empowerment for targeted advancement in spiritual understanding and experiences. Even if we can’t rise above certain thought patterns, cycles of desire,addiction even, we can still be fully aware of the karmic mental influence and be strong and experienced in navigating always to the true compass point of grace in God.” Fall down again, get up again” being the apt motto, for such a life of learning and growth.
Within our chart is the display of our internal workings, our thoughts, desires , preferences, it starts here in the mind. The planets are not just a physical external influence,karma. They are not simply imposing a way of life but rather through our thoughts are influencing what decide to choose.
In that sense, the field in which our karma first arises is in the field of mental activity, the mental plane.
